|1. How do I find a hotel and make a Reservation?
The discount hotels displayed on SamuiEasy.com inpartnership with Precision Reservations are in the 2-star to 5-star range, and the individual hotel pages will usually have several photos, as well as information about the facilities offered by the hotel.
After you have selected your preferred hotel, you will need to complete our secure reservation form in order for us to process your request. If you do not receive confirmation of availability online then we will notify you of the status of your request by e-mail within 24 hours. Also, be sure to make your reservation for the full duration of your stay. If you do need to extend your stay after arrival at the hotel, please contact our Customer Service agents to avoid paying the hotel's full rate.
2. What happens after I submit my booking request?
Upon receipt of your booking request we will immediately contact our supplier, or in some cases the hotel, to confirm availability. If a room is available, once you have submitted your credit card details and agreed to the booking conditions specified in the confirmation e-mail, then the reservation is confirmed and a hotel voucher will be automatically sent to your e-mail address. In some cases, it may take 1-2 business days to confirm your request. The hotel voucher will only be issued after we have received and validated your credit card information.
3. Can I book directly with the hotel?
No. The rates displayed on the Precision Reservations website are only available through this service. Hotel rates are often 75% more expensive. Our agents are also trained to help you switch hotels and deal with problems that hotels cannot help you with.
4. How long does it take to check if a room is available?
Many of the hotels we offer allow Instant Confirmation of Availability. For other hotels, we check availability when we contact the hotel or our supplier with your reservation request. This process normally takes no more than 24 hours.
5. Are the rates displayed per room or per person?
The rates displayed for each hotel show both the published rates and our special discounted rates, which are all per room and NOT per person. All hotel rates are listed in U.S. dollars, so please use our Currency Converter to see the equivalent value in your home currency.
6. What is the credit card payment procedure and how safe is it?
Once we have received your credit card details and have confirmed that a room is available as per your request, you will receive an e-mail confirming room availability.
Your credit card will be charged to HotelCardCharge.com, the company managing all credit card transactions for HUNDREDS of hotel reservation websites run by Agoda Company Pte Ltd, including www.precisionreservations.com and www.planetholiday.com. 7. What is your cancellation policy?
For hotel reservations made through Precision Reservations, you will receive an electronic confirmation which will display a due date by which time you must confirm acceptance of your reservation and the booking conditions by sending us your credit card details and replying to the confirmation e-mail. If we do not receive these details by the due date we will cancel your booking request automatically.
Once accepted, shortening your stay during the high season, periods of high occupancy, during trade fairs and conventions, or failure to cancel your reservation prior to the due date noted on your confirmation may result in a penalty charge being imposed by the hotel. If a penalty charge is incurred, this will be deducted from the amount refunded.
Your confirmation e-mail will specify the exact cancellation due date (i.e. the deadline you must cancel by in order to avoid any cancellation fee). Generally, the cancellation due date is 14 days prior to arrival at the hotel. If you wish to cancel your booking after you have received a confirmation, a cancellation fee of US$20 will apply. The penalty charge for any cancellations received less than 5 days is one-night stay unless specified otherwise on the confirmation email. You should reply to the confirmation email signaling your acceptance of the penalty charges. We must be notified of all cancellations within our normal office hours (GMT+7)
Cancellation requests submitted via any of the means above, prior to the due date noted on your confirmation, will be automatically refunded 100% within 10 days of receiving the request. Any cancellation request submitted after the due date noted on your confirmation will also be processed within 10 days, and any applicable penalty charge will be deducted from the amount refunded.

10.What is the normal hotel policy regarding children?
Most hotels adopt the policy of allowing children to stay in the room with parents either with or without an extra bed. The normal hotel policy is not to charge for children if they are under twelve years of age, while some hotels will limit occupants of a room to two adults and one child only. Only a few hotels will have existing bedding for two adults and two children in a room so an extra bed is usually required. Unfortunately, some hotels will charge for this extra bed.
11. How do I know I’m getting the best rate?
Precision Reservations offers the following “Lowest Rate Guarantee”: If you have reserved a hotel room through Precision Reservations and then show us that you could book the same room for the same dates at a lower rate that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it by 5%. For a claim to be valid under this guarantee, it must satisfy all relevant Terms and Conditions and be submitted in compliance with our Claims Processing procedures.
12. Is my reservation guaranteed?
All bookings secured via Precision Reservations are also now backed by our Reservation Guarantee. If your confirmed reservation at the hotel (for which you have been issued a voucher) is not available or cannot be honored when you arrive to check-in and no other room types that you had booked are available, immediately contact our 24-hour Customer Service Center at the contact number(s) listed on your hotel voucher. Our Customer Service Agents will arrange a room at another convenient and comparable hotel and Precision Reservations will pay for the full cost of the first night’s stay, including any tax and service charges. Also, just provide a receipt and we will pay for all communication costs to our office.
